Beyond Bricks

Architecture photography & Interiors
Architecture photography (also referred to as building photography or structure photography) generally means photography that focuses on buildings. It can include shooting building exteriors and interiors, as well as bridges, other structures, and cityscapes. These include:

  • Showrooms
  • Restaurants
  • Resorts
  • Sample flats, etc.

INTERIORS/SHOWROOMS
Pep Trends, Ambience Mall, Gurgaon
Most malls don’t allow lights to be switched on or off at will. Also, the reflections from the glass will always pose challenges. It is about using the available ambience light and filling in using artificial ones to create masterpieces.

INTERIORS/SAMPLE FLATS
Supertech, New Faridabad
Most builders want to showcase their sample flats as the best as this is what will help them to sell more effectively. The objective here was to make it look like a non-professional shoot, yet portray this room as bigger than what it really seemed as. All photographs need not be glossy, marketing objective was more critical here.

EXTERIORS/RESORTS
The Villa Himalaya, Solan
For exterior photography set-ups, daylight is something which can’t be avoided so the rest of the elements have to be altered to seamlessly merge into the setting.
